The Certification Course Instructor CD includes a number of files, including written and skills assessment instructions and tips on using the PPT slides and videos.
Nursing Contact Hours
In order for nurses attending a Certification Course to receive 26 contact hours, the Lead Instructor must register the course through the Emergency Nurses Association by completing and submitting one CPS Class Request Form for the course and an Instructor Biographical Data and Conflict of Interest Form for each instructor. They must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the course starts.
CHES Contact Hours
In order for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) attending a Certification Course to receive 6 basic Category 1 contact hours, they must complete and return the application within 30 days of the course. There is no pre-course work needed by the Lead Instructor.
